Took the plunge yesterday and bought the DSX1080 from Xavier. Device is small and compact. Most importantly, day recording is sharp and clear. Not yet tested the night video yet. Due to the squarish design, it is slightly visible even mounted behind the rear view mirror. Video playback exhibits "slowness" (using kmplayer) but still acceptable to me. Seller is friendly and responsive, even though I made a number of changes to our appointment. He configured the recorder, explained to me the various menus & usage, even mounted it for me.
