Osiris 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 from security angle, terrorists could had an easy time bombing the trains. Having said that, if SG is a target, this would have been exploited by them long time ago.
Windchoco 1st Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Looks like the german trains.. heh

Long time ago, security should have been tighter and it would have been difficult to breach. They are waiting for the right time to pounce when security starts to slacken (after a while people become bo chap) and that grafitti guy has exposed this by his action. Kudos to him and a big BOO to SMRT . . . only care about making money, bloody trains so pack in the morning and these tin cans are dusty and filthy . . . about time for makeover. Yoongf 4th Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 So if Mr Ah Long uses a spray can, instead of just splashing paint, on the HDB main door, is considered a lesser evil ??? If the owner din ask for it, vandalism is vandalism.
Ahseng 5th Gear June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 maybe get him to work for free lor since he "vandalised" the trains. Get him to finish all the trains for free hahahaha. certainly looks better this way
Nlatio Turbocharged June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Can look at another angle.... yes, the fella go spray paint on the train, breach security blah blah blah.... he is caught and need to pay for his action.... However, after that, he should also be commended for "exposing" the shortcoming of the security at SMRT..... the work does not seem to be a min or so job... kind of like around 20 to 30min at least.... and all that time, no one know about it... how many bombs he can place in the train if he is a terrorist..... and he can breach the security by just cutting the fence...... what kind of security measure is that??? This will be a wake up call for SMRT and the rest of the installation which is a target for terrorist.... without this incident, they thought that their place air tight, high security, cannot be breach.... it is time they relook at their overall security plan and make it even tighter than before..... Anyway thank God this fella just hand itchy wanna go spray paint and nothing else.... but looks like his Kar Chng gonna open flower....
Playtime Twincharged June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Is it a "rotan-able" offence???? Or do rotans only apply to locals for such cases?
Tubalog Neutral Newbie June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 Probably need to justify to increase the security for the shangri-la dialogue. SAF will activate reservists to do guard duty at these "key" places. i just received a sms for in-camp training today.
Tohto Hypersonic June 4, 2010 Share June 4, 2010 This type of painting is all over the place in Germany, underpass, bridge etc.... you need to be artistic to paint those drawing. That is why singapore is a boring country...
