Anyone bought wheels from ebay overseas?

What are the procedures involved? Is it worth the effort, time and price?

shipping cost is going to be a killer ... especially if from US

All ebay sellers from US ship via air. Let assume to airship one kg of goods = USD25.00 5 pieces of wheel ( less tyres) each weighing 7kg - total gross weigh = 35kg + (packing material). The airfreight charges is about 35 x 25 = USD 875.00 ( handling charges not included)

dont forget the GST also the risk of handling may cause your wheel dented.

so when you ask seller ,he tells you to look for shipper,shipper said you ask airport/land transporter etc.

so is all youe luck other than $.

How about Europe? Euro is cheap now.

 

I am more concerned about procedures (eg. customs, etc), air freight, local pickup and stuff. Shipping cost is a given.

Alamak! That is damn cheap but too late, I have engaged a forwarder to pick up the stuff already. Paying 4 times as much but by air.
