Lim65, I think what many forummers here feel is actually quite valid based on their observations. But whether it's 100% true, of course, cannot be proven.

 

It's easy to understand why they think you're not genuinely "sharing" your story.

 

To them, it is highly unlikely that a person who simply wants to share a story - without any motive except for wanting to share - would not go to the lengths you went through to post the story.

 

Their observations were:

- You only recently signed up for MCF membership

- You posted the 25 (or whatever the requirement) responses to be able to start a thread

- There's the same story copy-and-pasted in many other forums.

(may have left out other facts but these are sufficient)

 

So it's understandable if you see it from their perspective. Why would someone spend so much time and effort to share a story - across so many forums - copy and pasting the story? A person who just casually wants to share a story, rarely goes to such lengths.

 

In fact, it's safe to say what you've done is actually extremely uncommon to almost everyone - me included.

 

Hence, your actions, and the time and effort you put in simply to "share" your story naturally looks very very suspicious.

 

Of course their observations are not 100% proof that you're "advertising" your or someone else's services.

 

But I'm sure, given what you did and what is shown, very very few people would bet even a any amount of money that you're just "sharing" a story.

 

Many people would actually put money and bet on the much the higher probability that you in fact have an ulterior motive(s).

 

I'm not insulting anybody. I'm just listing out all the facts and the statistical probability of each outcome based on those facts. :)

U have made a general statement and what makes u think i am making an advertisement here? Enough said. Learn to respect people and mind the words used and recently already have articles that Singaporeans are no manners (although i disagree with it) and u dont want to help to the contribution. I mean no offense here and i hope everyone can be peace and not targeting anyone who wish to share or even talk nonsense. By bombarding this poor Lim, i can only see someone wants to continue this argument and it is fun to see how people react on all this. But, the simple thing that one is if u feel he is trying to do advertisement, just ignore him and this will do or if this is really a serious thing, i think the moderator should have close this thread long long time ago. for your info, i dont know who is Lim except the few posting i replied to him earlier.

 

But, if u keen to know all those Tua ah Pek stuffs, i can let u know where u can go to see for your own eyes for u to believe it, or there are already some other members here can show u as they also have personal encounter with them before.
