wow....what car is that ??? and how is duty being charge on this kind of situation?? and how about COE ??? anyone have any idea??? Will it be treated as importing of used car ?? then the car can't be too old as well right ???

The vehicle, to be imported, is a 2 month old new (UK spec) VW Transporter Bi-TDI with 9 seats. The vehicle can be classified as a private vehicle or a mini-bus (min. 9 seats). The prevailing rates for customs duties will apply.

 

This will be considered as a used vehicle. So long as the age of the vehicle does not exceed 3 years, since the day of its first registration in the UK, the vehicle can be imported to SG.

so if the car is successfully imported, it is similar to new car like having parf and coe and when you want to sell after 2-3 years will it be different from PI?
