Bro, where you stay? If you wanna DIY....then maybe I come to offer some help cum kpo.

But I suggest you let workshop do it....cos have to do alignment after installed new absorbers.

But still save abit if you self install the absorbers and then let outside workshop do the alignment. [rolleyes]

Many thanks. I need to study what tools I need first. I may swap the rear shock-absorbers first to verify if it is the rear ones giving me problem. If confirm, I buy new shock-absorbers for replacement. Then drive to the shop for all wheels computerised alignment. Internet said can DIY, but cheer team appreciated. Can I let you know when I am ready?

oh to bro redplanet, sound proofing job is to reduce the noise level not able to fully cut 100%... but does cut down the noise by at least 30-40% for basic soundproof to about 60-80% of the noisy depending on what materials you use, number of layers and is it the whole car.. do note it will not be 100 percent cut out... from what i see la.. sound travel in wave.. and cause by many reason keke..

Yes.... i am aware of that.... just thought of doing something for my fish.. hah! LOL!

If yours already worn/defective. Do not wait for accident first. Go ahead (I believe less than a hundred dollars). Ever bought rear shock-absorbers for Suzuki 800 at $32/- for set/pair (did not sent for any wheel alignment after that, and no issue). Do remember to replace the rubber bushes at both ends, or funny noises usually heard later (laugh). Just thought measuring the ground clearance differences for verifying if only rear shock-absorbers need replacement. After that I will buy new ones for DIY

Tentatively spend New Year Day on it. But why change if yours in order now?

somehow or rather....i still think change will be a good choice rather than wait.

The good news is that by lowering the tire inflation pressure (used to be +50kpa), the veering is not noticeable (hmm... the tire over-inflation might had magnify the imperfection).

It also seems to be that the front 165/70R14 tire are better road adhersion (no tire slippages heard) than the stock rear 175/65R14 tire, previously installed at the front. The lower tire inflation pressure compensates/helps relief the shock-absorbers. Now all tire with 230kpa, except the compact spare tyre

So may not need to replace the shock-absorbers so soon. Let us hope they can last much longer.
