Reset service interval reminder

Had this problem coming up on me after I had just sent my Spb for servicing. So had to send it back to reset the service interval. Apparently you do not need the Vagcom to reset it. You just have to press on the rignt trip meter reset button, at the same time turn on your engine and without releasing the right button turn the left clock button clockwise. The service reminder will be reset. Just something for you guys out there driving the Spb 1...not sure if it will work for Spb 2 or octys...

don't remember it was so complicated. did it once when i 1st got my octy ages ago. but since then, don't see that 'service reminder' message anymore .....

yes, you are absolutely right. It is a sequence of left and right buttons to reset it. Similarly, been a while and forgotten about how to do it, hence i wrote it down.

seems like the sequence that I used have 'disabled' that message cos I've never seen in coming back after so many years ....

You must have done a format instead of a reboot.... :D should have done that for mine.
