Some of you guys may have known that I have been cross shopping for my next car, to be more precise, between the Ford Fiesta & the Lamborghini Gallardo.

 

Thanks god for this great comparison video, now I am sold on the Ford. This weekend, I will be going down the showroom to sign for the new Fiesta.

Yap, I was actually considering importing the Mighty American icon Vette ZR1 until I saw the show, but cross it out soon after that.

 

Ok, I be serious a bit. British people in general are a bunch friendly people, very sporty, & take life more relaxing than people here ( as long as you didn't caught them after a big beer session at the local pub) . You can have a chat & crack a joke or 2 to stangers, the cute girl at the Mac counter, or the Auntie at touism center, even if you didn't buy a single thing, they will still greet you with a smile when you left ( & not those fake one we see so often in SG),

 

...while in Singapore, you are likely to get the infamous ice cube stare, or the girl thinking you are trying to hit on her.

 

 

If ask nicely, chances are you can get permission for things that seems impossible. But don't even think for a moment our SAF will allow such stunt. Even if they approve, you can bet some guys will come out & shout what a waste of tax payers money, waste of resourse, demeaning to the reputation etc.

It is this kind of reviews they do which make them so special and world renowned. Its just pure epicness which no other car show has and i doubt can recreate :P

A friend from Britain apparantly told me that it's the British army who actually asked TG if they can 'take part' in the video. Different mentalities I guess. We'll never get that in Singapore.

 

TG also feature a lot of military personnel in their program over the years. Fighter jets lah. Tanks lah. Navy ships lah. All also got.
