merc, porsche and bimmer all too ex to abuse on track unless you're filthy rich. tyres alone would kill.

i think slicks are pretty cheap compared to pilot sport 3s right?

I'm not sure abt ps2 or ps3. I can't fit either. I'm on re11. paying 270 a piece. can last abt 3 track day on pg based on re01r.. When i try cheaper tyres, it's worse. Maybe only 1 track day. Maximum i ever use the same tyre is only six months.. I can't imagine what it's like if i had bigger tyres, maybe i can only afford one meal a day. Haven't tried full slick, always worry that it would rain on my way there. Slicks for my size for nitto is 300

Of Course, not applicable if you do all your track day in sepang where the tyre wear is not so bad.

I think nitto is the cheapest already. Yokohama full slick cost even more. Tempted to try next time. I'm 215/45/17... I miss out on all the good angmoh tyres. haha.

I don't know abt drag radical. Leong seng carries nitto. Maybe you can ask them.

Oh... I was chatting with Andrew the other day when I sent my car in for servicing. He only told me they're bringing in the 1.6 Elise in July.

Yah, KC's a real nice chap. He did offer me his previous Elise S but well.... I'm a poor bloke.

Unless Proton gives me their MPV free for purchasing a lotus. Then I wouldnt mind :)

Haha! An Exora plus an Evora? How that sounds?

the Evora is really a revolution from Lotus.

but to drive other Lotus models on a daily basis??? you'd need a strong back, and a tolerant body from the harshness of such cars.....

It is not that bad bro, I have the Elise SC and i drove it everyday. Not the most comfortable of cars but def not harsh.

Having said that, when i test drove the Evora, it feels so different from Lotus previous smaller chassis cars.. It is TOO comfortable for exisiting and ex Lotus owners! Hahaha :D But the handling is still superb, still point and shoot, great feedback and plus the suspension felt really good. Only drawback, IT NEEDS MORE POWER!!! RAWR!! Just love the supercharger.. the rear of the evora is next to nil

qualified passengers include: dwarves and amputated corpses

I'd be satisfied with just an Elise S and the Exora (just for ferry services). Cant hope for much when I dont have the money.

Nissan GTR. May not have the soul and passion, but sure does have technology like a ferrari 599.

On a side note- the tyres are filled with nitrogen because the japanese feel that conventional air is too unstable.

you cant get a GTR for 250k unless its second hand and i dont think TS wants 2nd hand.

Nitrogen has been proven to make little/no difference unless on the track

Yup GTR prices have gone up disproportionate to other car prices. I'm really glad i got mine earlier this year at the old price.

Now it's literally like S$300K for a PI GTR, man... It actually out-prices the PI Cayman S and Boxster S with PDK option, so honestly it's truly expensive now.
