I only know one. Jackspeed.

Good quality. Did on my previous ride. Look almost as good as the first day I got it (par some wrinkles which is unavoidable), after 3 years of service.

How much did you pay for it? You did it for the whole car?

Either Jackspeed or Cushion8.

Mr_w124: I've sweaty palms at times too. And I have a leather wrapped steering wheel. What I did was to visit Autobacs and get a steering cover (those with grip material). Should be a cheaper and more effective solution.

Thanks for the replies. Yes i thought about getting the steering wheel cover. but i would prefer to rewrap the wheel. plus, for some reason the wheel cover i bought doesnt want to fit. was told that old merc steering wheels quite big so fifficult to get one that would fit properly. Anyway i would prob also check out cushion 8 n jackspeed as recommended by bros here. Sounds good. Any idea of the cost?

Mr_w124: Oh ok. In case, for future reference, Autobacs has different sizes of steering wheel cover. Probably can ask the staff to let you measure before purchase.

For your case, it could be a size issue.

Check the size and measurement of your steering wheel and get the correct and specific cover for your wheel.

It should be alright.

I think about 120-150 for just the steering wheel, & you can specific the design the leather. I ask for perforated (leather with small holes) at side, & normal leather at top & bottom, as well as red stitches. Inspirated by Ferrari F430. [:p]

Getting the steering wheel re-wrapped in leather is not going to b cheap. [sweatdrop]

Maybe u can consider getting a 2nd hand steering wheel from those scrapyards as they r very cheap & in almost brand new condition. Then just get your ws to do the swap for u. [nod]

Do not go for PVC cos it gets slippery when your palms sweat & u cud slip while doing some fast turning. Best is those rough leather for a better grip.

Oh yours is Merc ah. Then sud b no problem cos most scrapyards carry lots of spares for Merc. Just look around. Woodlands, Kranji & Sg. Kadut have several scrapyards. [thumbsup]

Check yellow pages for a full listing. [nod]
