For QQ drivers out there.....try pumping V power.

I get 12+ to 13km/l on esso 95 and 15+ on v power.

Makes the car easier to drive too.

yup v power for qq is easier to drive cause engine have abit less vibrate (DANGER CAR) but the fc is very bad for just 0.8l only [rolleyes]

Not too bad colour too. For 1st time buyer I think not bad. Bump here bump there, sratch here scratch there, heart also dont feel pain. Chuck away when done [laugh] .

For those who worry about image, girls cant tell the difference between a QQ , a punto or a smart anyway. Tell them its a punto smart hybrid [:)]

but it is a dangerous car in singapore when the qq car in a junction when engine vibrate in junction you turning right that it no power and the engine vibrate waiting for car coming to kiss you [laugh] [laugh]

Why spend hard earn money on rubbish??? [hur]

When I was a kid, my dad bought a old yellow small van. Secondhand but it was heaven to us kids and siblings then.

Someone mentioned good ride and no regrets, free from public transport but i tell you the van was noisy, no air con , smell of petrol but still heaven really. No regrets as well as that was all my father could afford then after many years of savings.

My first drive was in a old nissan cabstar after getting my driving license twenty years ago, still heavenly, went many places in it.

Many years later, dad drives better makes.

My point is, china or whatever make, rides are expensive in singapore and rides should improve someday, and you need to live within your budget today for that some day to come.......

I never tried qq so can't comment, but my first car was Korean and within budget.

Dun waste $$ buy a thrash.. i rather u take public transport..

I agree on this. No offense to QQ owner....but I think taking public transport more "presentable" than driving a QQ.

Like Bro Aaron said, I also will not wasting money buying a thrash home!!!

Well said! [thumbsup]

I also grew up riding on old and rusty pickups and vans which my Dad drove (he's a delivery man).

When I finally got my license, my first drive was the Datsun pickup, the one which gear shift is on the left side of the steering wheel. Later my Dad drove back a Toyota Hiace van. All these vehicles had no aircon, no power steering, lots of blind spots and very difficult to park in tight car parks. But I was happy enough to have a ride. The Datsun and Hiace, instead, trained me up to be a better driver with its difficult driving structure.

Hence, be it QQ or Mecedes, having a ride here in SG is already a blessing. No point over-spend and buy an expensive make and incur unnecessary debt. This is just my opinion only.

[thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup] your dad old yellow small van is still a better car than QQ, if your dad drive a QQ back then and suay suay hit something, you wont be here today. [angel]

wah lao.. why so many discrimination against china cars huh?? i see so many bombard abt china cars. Any issues on people owning one? Anyone seen anyone driving a chery QQ die? If not why so much discrimination here? I guess this is up to every individual choice. Just like people like to buy Jap or Korean cars or Conti. It still up to the people's choice. But i think in a forum we should not discriminate about any car make. Its just not right to do so. Owning a car is already very costly. I do not see why people owning china cars needs to be a shame of? After all they are using their hard earned money to buy and not others.

In Singapore, cars are expensive so we compare here and there and shame people with budget car.

Other countries, like in Dubai or US, price difference between accord and camry is negligible, and only a few thousands USD more for BMW 320i vs Camry. Still more toyota camries as compared to BMW 3 series..... as people drive within their budget and also parts costs etc. We can buy 3 x 2.4 lit camries in Dubai with our COE certificate now.

If you asked me, everyone of us in Singapore are ripped off when we buy car, tell this to anyone in this world how much our car cost:

If they are polite, they would say : we Singaporeans must be rich, but how many of us dont take car loan?

If they are not polite: You Singaporeans are crazy.

So whats there to look down on, the QQ here is more expensive than most Camry 2.4 lit in this world even when COE was lower.
