What type are u looking at?

 

They are those IP webcam with build in SD card slot which records at lower res 24-7 for a couple of days. It's also fuss free to install, just need a power point for the DC adapter.

You can check out S.L sq - 2nd floor a shop called g-n-g. They got a pre packed dvr with 4 cams - wired - or wireless... Good deal

b4 u decide what to use, u need to ask yourself what is your requirement. There are thousand and one type of camera n accessories in the market that suit diff needs... things like :

 

1) indoor/ outdoor

2) B&W or Colour/ B&W+ Colour

3) Light requirement.

4) PTZ or fixed camera

5) Recording is required? how long?

6) On-line/ offsite monitoring required?

7) Motion detector for motion activated camere?

8) Camera resolution?

9) and most importantly, your budget...

since you want DVR, be prepared for at least $400+

 

Fitted mine for approx $800 plus installation for a DVR with motion sensor, email alert, off-site monitoring, h.264.
