SimonTan 2nd Gear May 9, 2010 Share May 9, 2010 (edited) With the Euro plunged....I think conti cars will be 'cheaper' compared to Jap cars few months down the road. I think Singaporean got to get the Japan is good mindset out and try conti cars. Painfully Slow? Acceleration you mean? Do we really need fast acceleration on Singapore road? Come on...most car average 0-100km/hr is aound 9-11secs. Do you really need a 7-8sec fast car? Edited May 9, 2010 by SimonTan

Friendstar Supercharged May 9, 2010 Share May 9, 2010 (edited) Looking for a car less than 110k. I saw the price of VolvoS40 about 109k,is it a good deal. this S40 is really pathetically small. do consider carefully. the wheel base is even shorter than a forte. its like buying a mercedes A class Edited May 9, 2010 by Friendstar
The_Bear Turbocharged May 9, 2010 Share May 9, 2010 it used to cost only 100k some months back. But the COE was around 18-20k region. Unless SM is expecting the COE to drop further or smthg. But if so, other models will also be offered. Maybe they are trying to crank up volume short term.

The_Bear Turbocharged May 9, 2010 Share May 9, 2010 Sorry man I have long-legged children 1.8m well then, go for a test drive, bring everone along. maybe its okay. cheers. Maybe I'll drop by SM later too. But S40 2.0 is not really in my mind. More thinking the V50 or XC 60 but those 2 prices still expensive... ↡ Advertisement
