Vextan 1st Gear May 8, 2010 Share May 8, 2010 (edited) why is no one grateful towards singtel and starhub for spending so much money to bid for the telecast rights ? clearly they are making a loss, but are doing this out of social responsibility . i estimate their bid amount to be $100 million conservatively, if you multiply say, 100,000 subscribers by $88, it is barely $10 million. come on guys, at least try to see their good intention. Youaredie Clutched May 8, 2010 Share May 8, 2010 Actually if they say pay 66, but its 3D broadcast, then I don't mind man. Standard definition for 66 is just nutz.

If its too exp. Then don't bring it in, serious. What will happen next 4 years ? $66 * 4 ? They can always allows us to watch RCTI or RTM1 There is never social responsibility for this bidding.. Purely business decision. Imagine the loss revenue over beer and sports wear companies advertising fee. Singapore Pools will have a harder time with soccer betting..
