Happily1986 5th Gear May 5, 2010 Share May 5, 2010 This is what it is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNhtL4AsdtQ ah thanks. i guess both are simply commercial solutions aiming to do the same thing, i.e. protect your car's top clear coat. the 3M one is probably polyurethane PU whereas the one we have heard about (which requires heat to adhere to your car's top coat) is using PPS polyphenylene sulphide.
