Condemn their action and philosophy, but respect their ingenuity and technology.

 

Most of the engineers and generals were not Nazis to start off with. In a way, Germany would achieve more sucess if not for the Nazis trying to implement their idealogy into the military structure.

 

Most German combatants were not Nazis too. They were the regular army.

The Cold War did the Western military alot of good too. The results are are too clear in Desert Storm.

Well, if you want to separate them by their ideology, that's okay too. I'm just separating them by their allegiance and nationality. Hitler suffocated the development more than anything else, I guess.

The Cold War did the Western military companies ( like stark industries ) alot of good too. The results are are too clear in Desert Storm.

E.g

Leopard main gain L44 is made by German firm Rheinmetall.

 

Today hey are the main contractor for US M1A2 more powerful L55 barrel.

Not even the Isreali, Scandis or US are able to beat them in this nich industry.

Don't forget, they are also the one who started the UAV with bomb use during the bombing of London in WWII. A small spinner spin inside a pilotless airplane and upon reaching a number of spin, it cut off the engin and the plane fell onto the street of London.
