Really need some help from all the brother and sister here...

Currently my company is facing some financial problem, it all started from last month when my pay is being delay for almost 3weeks, after 3 weeks, my boss suggested he can only give me 50% first, than last week, he pass me the remaining 50% but less $100 <_<

so i guess well, maybe he really tight up, but things change kinda fast, almost all my college had leave the company, leaving me and the account, and theres news saying boss have the intention of just shut down the company and run away...

So my problem is, if boss really just wind down and run again with my salary + last month CPF & this month, apart of reporting it to MOM, wat else can be done?

Heard too many cases that, even the company it PTE LTD, closing of the company is as simple as sole proprietor.

Really need some kind advise on this...

Is your company a pte ltd

U must check with your accounts is the company owing a lot of debts, get some info, like owing any tax $$, or GST $$

Yes he can voluntarily wind up the company, without paying all his creditors, but his creditors will object one.

If company no debt just dowan to pay salary, tell your boss straight, you lodge complain w CPF board if he go for strike off you will object.

Run away ??? Does your boss has any other business in singapore?? can buy a serach on his personal profile but think need his IC No.

You better find a new job FAST....

When boss has to delay your pay, something is very wrong with the company already. Such things is cannot be delayed one.

Similar things happened to my previous company. Boss tell me my pay deduct $200 because of economic crisis I already feel uneasy and started looking for a new job. Then later when he wanted drop pay by another $200, I quit straight away. Even went to the extend of immediate dismissal cause my employment contract say have to give 1 month notice. If I work extra 1 month, don't even know whether got pay or not so better leave.
