Speedz76 2nd Gear April 28, 2010 Share April 28, 2010 (edited) just pay up and buy! there is no $1 economy is doing well, cost of resources is rising, that is why the book is priced at $30. The pricing is fair and competitive, it is dictated by market forces, (due to high demand and limited supply), if you hold on to the book, in the next 20 years, the price will double to $60. It is definitely affordable to buy now. We want everyone to have a slice of the cherry. Single buyers will enjoy a grant of $5 when purchasing the book, but will have to fork out $2 as processing fee for the paperwork and eligibility check. Infact, with this subsidy, getting the book for a nett $27 is a steal. If you buy a book from London or Hong Kong, you will have to pay $50, our books are defintely cheaper than theirs. Kiadaw 6th Gear August 7, 2011 Share August 7, 2011 (edited) $25 map,$2 staff take, $3 return each to them total $30 lor the $1 never go anywhere Ya loh. The 2 dollars & the maths below is just to confuse people. Haha. $27+$2=$29 It should have been $27+$3=$30 (he return 3 dollars to the dudes), so map cost 27 dollars He pocket $2, & put $25 to the cashier box. ($27-$2)=$25. Anyway, I find the angmoh more amusing than the question. Each man go back $1. Took me a while to understand this statement. Requiemdk 1st Gear August 7, 2011 Share August 7, 2011 (edited) This old as dirt math puzzle is still going around???? $5 discount means each man paid $25/3 = $8.33 dollars approximately. I'm sure this is enough of a hint for those who haven't figured it out or haven't looked at the 345898 answers posted previously.
