i was only 10 years old when the car joined the family.

it was used daily to send the kids in time for school assembly, transport to and fro work and the occasional family trips.

 

fast forward 9 years and 80k km(!) mileage later, the boy finally got his license.

drove around the neighbourhood for supper, meetups

 

the day it left, i was in the office.

i gotten news that the new car was delivered and the current one was taken away.

i felt excited over the delivery but was quickly overwhelmed by its passing, it had just been like a family member to me.

 

i probably wouldnt ever see it again cause last i heard, it was exported to South Africa

 

now 5 years later, whenever see the same model on the roads, i would try to catch up and steal a few glances, feeling all warm, fuzzy and nostalgic.
