Unfair 3rd Gear April 26, 2010 Share April 26, 2010 actually thats not the only prob bro. drove up to malaysia till cameron highlands that time with my brother's rex. his rex turbo red hot but my sc no prob leh. Whats wrong with a red hot turbo ?? It is heated up by the exhaust gases that go thru it, temp will climb naturally. It is designed to take these kinda temps, but normally people have exhaust temp gauges in turbo cars to monitor if they made modifications to the setup. Your SC is belt driven, of course will not heat up..... Your SC merc can keep up with the rex if it goes WOT ??
