Enforcer533 Neutral Newbie September 28, 2010 Share September 28, 2010 Yes, its good but filtration is poor.... Thats why I avoid. Used to use it then realise my turbo outlet, intercooler and even TB get dirty very fast. After changing to Amsoil which is dry type and good filtration, it stays clean even after 6 months.... Oh is it ?? so roughly how long must wash ??. Btw the person who sold the filter to me said that when go for servicing they will clean 4 u is that tru ? ↡ Advertisement

Hurricane, if you check out their website, they say cleaning is between 5000 km to 10,000 km.
Yuan 6th Gear September 30, 2010 Share September 30, 2010 KNN is good but really KNN. Need to wash and need to oil...... I use KNN filter also back then. Just get the cleaning kit. Cleaning solution will run out first but don't need to bother. I just use dish washing liquid or dynamo (its cotton afterall, just like cloths). Then after than wait for it to dry and put the oil. Btw, softener works for the filter too. Cause you will see the fibers open up and instead of clumping together. Oiling the filter is slow process but quite fun. Then see the filter becomes red instead of white. Looks brand new. Quite cool! The washing, drying and oiling takes a bit of time. But K&N catches dirt real fast. Only 8k plus and my K&N is really dirty especially at the snorkel where my air intake comes in.
Yuan 6th Gear September 30, 2010 Share September 30, 2010 How much is the K&N oil? is the name K&N oil? They call it the K&N Cleaning Kit. Both the cleaning solution and the oil are inside.
