Blackseal 1st Gear April 22, 2010 Share April 22, 2010 Volvo may have been one of the first car companies to bring an automatic braking system to the street, but it certainly won't be the last. Subaru just announced it's the New EyeSight ↡ Advertisement

Darthrevan Supercharged May 1, 2010 Share May 1, 2010 What if a person tailgates another car & the automatic brake slows accidentally? Would it cause a chain collision on a highway?

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear May 2, 2010 Share May 2, 2010 i don't think this technology is new.... BMW and Audi has been doing this for quite some time already... just that they don't put it on their cars....well, except the new 7-Series and A8... it can also scan the area for speed limit, and then the car will warn drivers of the speed limit.... as for the car e-braking when it 'sees' an accident or an object in front of the car, won't an ordinary driver jam brake too??? Qpik Supercharged May 10, 2010 Share May 10, 2010 sekali the car "eye" capture stuff that our human "eye" can't see & stop by itself. & if that is not worse enuff, imagine this happens on NS highway, sure anyway back to topic, this is a baaah idea...rely too much on technology, next time might not even need a driving license cos car will hv IA to ferry passengers around
