Aw.. c'mon, what do you expect to hear about Cherry A5? Or other cina brands for the matter?

Then again, he could have mention: "Great to get from point A to point B without getting wet! Better than motorcycle as it has 4 wheels and a roof that hopefully doesn't leak!"

The Koreans took years before their quality reached today's standards that some people already say can match with the Japs, which themselves took many years to achieve the quality of today.

Having ridiculed the A5 in my previous post, I think the same could not be said of it in 10 or 15 years' time.

Do yourself a favor before using a review to judge the car.

Go to a China Car road show or showroom to see the car for yourself.

Don't be bias. Give them a chance.

I think you will find that the journalists was very generous in their review.

The plastic is worse than they described. If you have kids, then probably you might at one time or another bought

cheap plastic toys or received them from birthday goodies bag. Those plastics might be of better quality than those in chinese cars.

I am not bashing chinese car. It's all about the value you received for a car.

Why pay good $$ for a new but inferior car when one can get a well maintained COE jap car which is much better & cheaper and probably is much more safer and reliable.

I heard so much about the infamous chinese car.

I had the chance of seeing/touching a Chery V5 in a roadshow among others.The MPV, V5 cost 91K now.

I almost cut my finger using the wafer thin plastic power window switch & pop up compartment lid.

Open the hatch and look at those weld spots which I think was done with minimal emphasis on safety, maximum emphasis on cost saving.

For $52/month more, one can get a New Kia Karen

QQ which cost 60K. $42 more per month you can get a Picanto (A)

Both are light years ahead in terms of quality and probably safety and reliability

Like I said, don't believe what I say. go down and have a look.

reviewers are obliged to be slightly more generous towards the product and company they are doing a review on.. right? they will try as far as possible as they can, not to put both in a bad light. but this review, it does. gotta show how bad the car really is.
