2010 Q1 Report Card - Toyota Still Top the Chart

Q1 data is out.

Toyota (+Lexus) still top the chart but total sales downed by over 50% vs Q1 2009.

Worst hit is Honda, downed by 65%.

Top performer is Audi which almost doubled its sales and into top 10.

VW is next with 81% gain.

Kia is now No. 2 with Merc 3rd.

The total market shrink by 30%.

Poor performance by the Japs and good result for almost all the Contis.

Not surprising. I bet most of the uncles & auties that must be a huge chuck of Toyota sales isn't folloeing the news of Toyota recall issue.

 

VW & Audi rise is deserving, in my opinion. VAG has been setting the world on fire for the last 5 years with their lineups.
