Family with four cars unhappy they have only one lot

If ppl look at an unbiased pov, a penthouse can easily cover the floor area of the regular condo of 3~4 units. Dan it's not unreasonable for them to have 3~4 cars parked at the premises. But becos of the technical issue of having the unit as a whole they kenna penalised, I feel that it's kinda silly. Penalising the minority and the issue is not even about the lack of lots. Inflexible rules. IMO staying at HDB is better, nobody will disturb you whether you have more dan one car or 10 cars.

well, penthouse owners usually have the highest share value in the condo.

 

maintenance also pay the highest.

Allocated as in block A has lots 001 to 050, unit #01-01 gets lot 001, unit #01-02 gets lots 002 etc.

There is such thing as Strata Lots, which belong to particular units. My place has such lots and I have a Strata Lot reserved for my unit, but that doesn't stop people from parking in my lot all the time :angry: The issue is that while the developer caters for exactly 1 lot per unit, some people insist on having more cars and their cars cannot be parked outside the gates.

 

Didnt know they did that here. Are the lots labeled with your unit number? I don't think its the developers fault. The buy should know from the start how many lots they have. If not suitable, they should have chosen some other property that was more suited for their needs.

 

You should speak to the body corporate to get a contracted tow company to tow and store illegally parked vehicles, and charge the driver/owner for the towing and storage fees. Much better than wheelclaps

Their share of the maintenance charge is not 3 or 4 times more, but about 20-30% more only. Carpark lots are not assigned based on the percentage of area. It's based on approximately 1 lot per unit. They shd just charge for usage of additonal lots.

Why am I not surprised. I just hope they're not your fellow residents. I really think that towing should be implemented here. Clamping is just money. Towing is more money + hassle

Actually if like that, I will just drive and park in front of the car so it cannot move out from the lot. Make the person wait until you come down to shift your car so he can move out.

 

This definately works because I personally kenna from a private lot owner before.

 

I LPPL just wait until he song and drive away.
