Where to lodge complain against Doctor

Friend of mine just encountered this irresponsible doctor. Dispense medicine which causes allergy and says amoxocilin is 'good medicine'.

 

Now my fren wants to lodge complain against this doctor.

 

Any bros know where to lodge such complaints?

every med can have allergies... even panadol... you can't expect the doc to know everything...

Unless there is negligence and the doc has done his due diligence, there should be no cause for complain.

 

Docs are human too, you cannot expect them to know all.

Every medicine will cause allergy including panadol.

 

Did your friend tell the Doctor he is allergy to amoxicillin? if yes and the Dr still give him you got a case.

 

If no than is your friend bad luck, how the doctor know he is allergic to it? majority of the patients take amoxicillin no problem

 

And yes, amoxicillin is indeed a good medicine/antibiotic as compare to the rest.

did not fren inform the doc he is allergic to amoxocilin, if yes, the doc is irresponsible, if no, your fren is irresponsible, if both duno, both are not to be blamed

 

when i went for operation... i was given a antibotic.... i had an allergy attack only then i know i got this allergy... so docs is not to blame.

is doctor from clinic that is part of chain like silver cross? complain to the company direct. if gp is own time own target, do it here.

Like the others mentioned, there is no case if the allergy is unknown or not reported to the doc.

 

Moving forward, ur friend need to do further tests and determine what other medicine he is allergic to as i suspect he should be allergic to other penicillin related drugs.

Thereafter, he should get the medik awas card.

aiyo. must be the reactions scared his gf/wife during their hot and passionate moment. now got blueballs and become a grumpy man for the rest of the week.

many a times allergy cant be discovered unless one actually try taking that medicine.

 

if ur friend didnt tell the doctor that he is allergic to amoxillin than there isnt any case.

 

unless ur friend tells the doctor and can prove that he has already told den is the negligence of the doctor.

 

dont everything complain complain complain la. its nobody's fault imo.

 

thats y many doctors will say u nv eat this medicine b4 right? if u eat liao u no feel gd or got rashes etc. stop eating and come back.
