see the vehicle owners manual. most japanese new cars can use 0w-20. but tougher to find such oils in SG. the conti cars still mainly require at min 30wt oil if not 5w-40.

Use only 40wt if your car manual says to. else stick with whatever else is recommended. i admit i don't know better, i don't design engines, i am not a tribologist and not kay khiang to question manufacturer's specs and do not have deep pockets to experiment with my car's engine, so i follow. but in the end the car is yours, do as you wish.

Actually, what is the 0w or 5w means? and the -40? i only know it should tell the viscosity, but what the numbers mean?

Anyway, mine is Hyundai.

Will take your advice and check on the manual to see what is recommended.

The lower the first digit the betterit is for winter. It is not of much significance except that it tells u its syn if its lower.

The other number is more important, do check your manual.

Anyone got a pic of the ratings of the helix? Only api sn cf acea a3 b3 b4?

What do you use to suck? Once the oil start to flow , it will continue to flow; like water?
