i notice ytday Sunday from onemotoring website, there were very mild traffic on the causeway. From morning until evening time. :blink:

 

Maybe this sunday go in....... ^_^

just drove in today again abt 11am ... :)

 

having fun....this time round, drove all the way to JUSCO (Tebrau). Went to level 3 for lunch @ the soup restaurant....nice... a bit X but still worth it by SG stds...

 

on my way back drove to City Sq and walk ard before returning to SG....next time...will go to Sutera Mall...

 

any bros know what are the stuff we cannot buy back? Like eggs, meat, etc??

just to sutera mall today. nothing much there but loads of makan places...side by side

After which, drove to TESCO (Bt Indah) and spent quite a long time there...loads of groceries to buy...followed by JUSCO (bt indah) - there is A&W and Baskin Robins there!!!!

 

Quite a fruitful trip overall, and yes, medication is cheap in JB.... [;)] Got stuff like cough mixture for my boy (which cost S$9.80 but only abt RM$15) and Zytec for allegy.... worth it.

 

Any other places to recommend???

Can't really rely on the GPS as the roads there are like "crazy" but at least traffic is still ok as I went abt 4pm today.

With your GPS u sud b able to find many shopping centres & makan places too.

 

So many things to do in JB & slowly u can explore further & further away.

 

Maybe u might want to join our next Road trip to Msia? [drivingcar]

 

Kota Tinggi waterfalls & Sedili resort is not too far away. Further up wil b places like Kuantan, Melaka, Kenyir Lake, Cameron Highlands, etc.

 

Good for cheap & good holidays. [thumbsup]

Ya. Most GPS dont have unless its latest update.

 

Anyway no problem. Even if u off course, your GPS wil re-calculate the new route to your destination once u r on the older roads. If GPS cannot follow the new roads, just follow the road signs.

 

With GPS u sud never get lost. Best part is it lets u know the road ahead if got sharp curves or not so u can adjust your speed accordingly. Used it at night to Sedili (never drove there b4) & it guided me safely there & back.

really running out of places to go....went in this morning...

 

had breakfast at Oldtown Coffee @ JUSCO (Tebrau), afterwhich went to the Carrefour nearby, followed by Danga City Mall and lastly Pelangi.

 

Danga cannot make it...a lot of shops close down...the Metrojaya damn quiet...big big diff from Pelangi.

have you tried the 肉骨茶 at taman sentosa?

you can also drive up to senai there for 苦瓜汤 and 炸肉.

can choose to drive up to Kulai there. Near the TESCO there are one stretch of eating house there. food not bad.

in fact, the eating house there from those road sides may be worth to go.

Using Garmin? Have you tried Malfreemaps?

 

I've used a very basic nuvi 200 with the above map. Been to KL, Malacca, Penang, Genting, Cameron, Fraser's hill, Pontian, etc, no problems except if in doubt(why GPS telling me go there?), follow the road signs, lol.

I find using GPS is pretty crucial for me as my car lights are pretty dim, so using GPS can see how curve the road is... when I drive at NSH at night.

ya been noticing alot of them at the traffic junction and alot of cars get caught there as well...
