The interest is only 0.05% which is atrocious to say the least but more than compensated by this $110 ntuc voucher which is a 22% pa return!

Fcw75 Hypersonic January 8, 2019 Share January 8, 2019 Sorry typo shld be 2.2% paisehI think the return is only 1.125% after 6 months if my calculation is correct.
Wt_know Supersonic January 8, 2019 Share January 8, 2019 what 1.125%? ok forget it! I think the return is only 1.125% after 6 months if my calculation is correct.
Spring Moderator January 8, 2019 Share January 8, 2019 I think the return is only 1.125% after 6 months if my calculation is correct. My calculation is $10k x 2.2% = $220/2 = $110 is that correct? And this is not including the 0.05% interest earned by the way.

Fcw75 Hypersonic January 8, 2019 Share January 8, 2019 (edited) Huh? You need to normalize to 1 year la. You big shot towkay also dunno how to count interest rates ah? I am simply calculating the return after putting the $10K for 6 months. The return is $112.5 ($110 voucher + $2.5 interest) 112.5/10000 x 100 = 1.125% right? If we are wrong, at least show us the correct calculation and return. Edited January 8, 2019 by Fcw75 ↡ Advertisement
