Hmm a can of coke can sell for 50 cent at some NTUC.

A can of coke can sell for 1 dollar to 1.50 dollar at some convenient stores.

A can of coke can sell for 2.50 dollars at some cafe.

A can of coke can sell for 4-6 dollars at some restaurant.

[rolleyes]

Coke at coffee shop & at restaurant has different price cos u r paying for the ambiance of the place. Just like a cup of tea.

But battery cannot consider the same lah, unless u consider the ambiance of St@mf*** Tyres? Then ST sud have some gers in bikini to serve the Coke & b eye candy also. [laugh]

I think its clear that ST is DAMM EXPENSIVE to buy batteries. Clear & simple. [nod]

i got it when i went KAH for servicing and they discovered my battery is weak, which is the reason my startup is sluggish. i havent been able to find out the country of manufacturing. does it matter which country the battery is from?

===============

I like to know where the battery is made cos the country of origin does matter to me.

Jap or USA quality is [thumbsup] so maybe pay a bit more.

MY or Indo quality is not so good so must b cheaper.

just like so many other things.

the govt should not let private companies to buy over markets.... this is not right.

markets are built by HDB, to serve the residents for food and basic nessacities, and it shld not ended up with private companies.

very often i wonder whether the garment has cronies in these private companies.....

This would be true only if HDB were the ones selling the food as well but we can see that it was not the case. The stallholders were private individuals and not employees of HDB. Besides, supermarkets have always been providing a competitive price for food and basic necessities so there's no real reason for anyone other than the stallholders to complain. "I like the ambience of wet markets" and "wet markets are a part of our culture" should not be seen as a legitimate complaint.

That why they say JB is cheap, What you pay is what you get.

If the battery you bought in JB, suay suay faulty.. need to go all the way back jb change.

If sg, more convenient for you. so no point complaining here. just change and pray that it's last long. :D
