That's because a smart person will realize that the Singapore Sports Council swimming complex pools are so much BIGGER!

 

Seriously. Sign up SAFRA member can get a decent size pool for a workout swim in the weekends. Those HDB blocks opposite the Yishun SAFRA house should count as "location" already. Furthermore a new spanking hospital is beside it just in case you happen to get a heart attack while at the SAFRA house.

Interesting thread! Reading it to find out that there are some kim keat ave folks here.

 

I used to stay there in 195 from 197? to 1986. Gone to the 'now extinct' Kim Keat Pri Sch and then First Toa Payoh Sec. The Fried Kuay Teow in 194 was the best for me .

 

Reading this brings back some of the childhood memories. Wonder if the table tennis table in 195 is still there?

 

Must drive there again to take a look.
