Brown tree sap patches on a white car!! :(

Normal auto polishing can remove these brown patches?? It is almost a white but I am not free to go do anything about it...

Will it still be remove if i wait for 2 days later to go to those professional detailers?

Thanks! :(

U might want to clean it off first and try DIY polishing.

Its always good to remove stains ASAP.

even if ur car is silver, should wipe away tree sap, bird sh*t asap...if not it will eat into the paintwork...

go to a good groomer and they might be able to buffer lightly to try to remove the stain...

bro, go professional is one choice but if you want to "DIY" remove tree saps, you will need a polish compound. If your car is black like mine, the tree sap will leave etches that looks ugly under lights. If white, any kind of lights will make it obvious.

I normally rinse off immediately to loosen the sap and wipe off with a soft cloth (micro fibre is a good bet).

Upon reaching home, I will rinse down and dab dry the affected area (not wipe with drying cloth unless you are washing the entire car). Wiping may leave marring on your clear coat as your car would have dusts settled in during the course of your day driving. I then use Meguiars Ultimate compound to remove the etching (using polishing pad) and wiping off with a MF cloth. After compounding, i will apply meguiars colorX (AIO) with another polishing pad going over affected area and wipe off. Finally, i will top up affected area with Meguiars Sealant.

The above process always works for me. Leaving the tree sap longer means you will have more work to do. This is because the liquid in the tree sap will seat in deeper and deeper into your clear coat. Always be looking out for tree saps or bird s--t when parked underneath a tree. If you can help it, avoid parking in such lots. My 2cents :).
