I dun think it is how low they view the police. This incident happened after a series of raids carried out in Geylang.

 

It is not a matter of looking down on our police force but when u drive ppl to desperation, ppl lose all fears and retaliate. Like cornering a little puppy into a corner, the puppy will and definitely bite back.

it is 4 policman against 200, who drive who to desperation??

 

the police merely arrested 1 person, without doing anything to others, yet the crowd of 200 started to retaliate against the police... i dont see how the crowd was driven to desperation at all
