So_nice 6th Gear March 25, 2010 Share March 25, 2010 ATF is ur gear box oil. auto transmittion fluid. recomended to change every 40k. wat do u mean by u change to D when u stop at traffic light? D -> drive and uses all gears D2 -> 2nd gear D3 -> 1st gear O/D -> overdrive or 3rd gear sometimes when u need alittle extra power u can make use of the O/D button located at the gear knob there. it drops a gear so u can rev higher for power. to drive normally just use D will do. the other 2 Ds are for steep slopes.
