Turbocharged

since you driving auto car, just press on the brake, why need to pull handbrake at junction? are you saying that you pull the handbrake in drive mode and released the brake?

ATF is ur gear box oil. auto transmittion fluid. recomended to change every 40k.

wat do u mean by u change to D when u stop at traffic light?

D -> drive and uses all gears

D2 -> 2nd gear

D3 -> 1st gear

O/D -> overdrive or 3rd gear

sometimes when u need alittle extra power u can make use of the O/D button located at the gear knob there. it drops a gear so u can rev higher for power.

to drive normally just use D will do. the other 2 Ds are for steep slopes.

Neutral Newbie

Normally i juz pull handbrake without shifting to N at traffic juctions cuz lazy to step on foot brake. This would reduce wear and tear to gearbox.

but nv shift to N remain at D tot easily spoil the Brakepad ? no meh?

brake pads are meant to be replaced an ur gearbox not. anyway brake pad is cheap. even if it does affect the wear and tear rate also nvm. ur gearbox several Ks
