Fuel guage tampered?

I'm getting a used car soon. Can any1 teach me how to check if the fuel gauge of the car has been tampered? I don't wanna to go JB and get caught by Singapore immigration for this issue.

Send the car to a good workshop to check.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrr if you fuel content reading is accurate u dun have to worry. Buy full tank & see if the fuel meter work correctly as u drive it down over a few days. If u are not sure get the seller/dealer to confirm.

Can drive to the checkpoint ?

explain to the officer, and ask them do the check for you, and ask them paste sticker "Pass" on the windscreen
