thinking of taking a holiday there.. is it worth it?

 

I will be claiming my krisflyer miles, from Silkair. so air fare is FOC already

 

Hotel charges? places to hang ard and see, shopping? food prices?

 

how many days should i be there?

 

I going with partner

 

i read they have the best mangoes......

had been there many years back...stayed at Shangri -la and next to the sea....nice sea and can play water sport...banana boat!

Was there 2 weeks ago, also on KrisFlyer free mileage.

4 days in Cebu, stayed at Waterfront Cebu City Casino Resort. I wanted to stay at Hilton Cebu Resort but couldn't get a room then.

If you love the sea and beach stay at Mactan Island but far to town in main Cebu Island.

The hotel I am staying is very near to shopping malls and bars. Peso 30 for taxi flag down and P2 every km.

Foods and beers are dirt cheap. A nice meal cost me P260 with steak and beer.

Half a day city tour in Cebu city side. Hop over to Bohol Island for a day tour. All free and easy.

Now is summer over there. If have friend's over three should be much better.

Keep on the safe side should be fine. You will enjoys the place especially the beaches and bitches!!!

i think i decided to go to Davao, another Silkair destination.

 

I hope it's gonna to be good.

 

we wanted to stay in same nice island and we found it in Davao, Samal Island. the house is on slits by the sea!!

we may stay here for 2 nights, and then move back to Davao city and spend another night there, just hang ard....

 

its not tat expensive though, for the experience. You definitely won't get this in SG or anywhere nearby.....

boracay has nice beaches too...

boracay abit troublesome to go there.... u need to land in cebu or somewhere, then take those small propeller planes to go to boracay....

 

i just need a fuss free trip....... hahaha
