i find that the digital models are better in power reservation. I've tried taking out my old frogman after 6 months in the box and it still runs but my mudmasters will go out of juice in 4 weeks in a dark corner.

Casio do really charge an arm and a leg for battery changes. my solar batt is changed at 20 each and no solar is also 20 (2 batt, 10 each). But of course casio ensures that the seal is water tight after removing the case back.

Tats 1 of e reasons i send them back to e service centre, e water seal. Many yrs back,my dw5600 up lorry cos after chg batt outside, e water seal got problem n water seep into e watch -.-ll

My only G-Shock is a 10+ year old G-7700 which is still working great.. have ordered a GA-2100-1A1 to add to it..

These G-Shocks are really indestructible and can eventually pass to my boy when he grows up.. haha..

Like this? 🤪

I went to a G-shock retail shop to see, touch and try before I place my order online for the GA-B2100. I like it for the low profile and understated look that can blend into my long sleeve workshirt.

After doing some research on octagonal casios....I self poisoned....now aiming for this piece :

not a G-shock though, but has the classy but slight rugged look.😅

For me the size is ok as I'm not into chunky watches.. perhaps this color I picked a bit too stealthy that nothing stands out.. haha..

My GA-B2100-2AJF arrived from Japan.

Well packaged by the Japanese seller for shipping. Even have an enlarged colour printout of the english manual for non-japanese buyer like me. The box comes with a standard domestic Japanese language manual.

Like the size and low profile. The tough solar adds the sunburst sheen to the face which adds a touch of upmarket finish feel.

Connected tp the Casio Watch App. (different app from old G-shock App, i suspect they are migrating all casio bluetooth watches to this app)
