Alan_yeo10 Neutral Newbie March 18, 2010 Share March 18, 2010 Hi Bro Blacky, I've change my right side before, parts supplied by workshop plus normal servicing, oil filter, plug, gear oil by me, the total cost is $150.0 FYI
Ichibawa 5th Gear March 18, 2010 Share March 18, 2010 Its a lower arm ball joint like what bro Furrynadz said. For a Latio its not using the flanged type so its cheaper. Few hours is probably for a new technician. The rubber part is the dust cover which protects the ball pin from foreign particles. Most workshop can do it provided they have the part. Yeobh 4th Gear October 24, 2011 Share October 24, 2011 There are few ways to extract out/remove the ball joints depending on vehicle makes and models. Most of the mech will use a fork wedge and hammer to do the job. For smart mech they will us mechanical or hydraulic extractor to save time and prevent damage to other linkage.
