Turbocharged

War movies are good entertainment! Some of the best are:

1) Platoon

2) Full Metal Jacket

3) Apocalypse Now

4) Band of Brothers series (another epic i thoroughly enjoyed!)

Others I liked but exagerrated and purely for entertainment are the first "Predator" with Jesse Ventura, and the entire Rambo series!! [pirate]

I haven't catch platoon and Apocalyse Now, but Full Metal Jacket and Band of Brother is GOOD!!!!!!

Actually although the Rambo series is exagerrated, I like the first rambo most! very dark and serious tone. In the book "first blood", he actually shot himself and commit suicide, but the directors made him live so sequels can be produced.

As a sidenote I cannot stand Claudine Van Dame & Steven Seagal.

Both of them are so full of themself. Especially Van Dame, egolomaniac beefcake. pompous a------e.

And Seagal's martial chop-chop style also damm irritating. Always pretending to be super zen.

Actually, Bruce Lee was a all time favorite of mine, but now, looking at all his movies again, (compilation on DVD)

He was no different from the two mentioned here.
