no la. because i heard alot of rumors they changed it for the 1992 and beyond batch from 18 to 21

Maybe i was wrong. I got mine 15 years ago. My parents would say 21 then i can take and drive.

it was never 21 before. during the early 90's, i believe minimum age was 16 to ride bike or car as i see my senior school mates riding to school and JC students driving.

last time is 16 but change to 18, ( when i was 15++ )

 

big car rental mostly 21 ( with 1year exprience)

 

about the taking licences to 21.. is just a suggestion due to last time many youngster 18 - 20 died in accident but never be implement.. but they make the insurance into age group and rocket the price of the age group 18 - 21

and also the new 2b, 2a, 2
