Built in HU

hi all, i am getting a new car with a built in HU, i would like to transfer all my speakers and amps,subs and cap to the new car,but i heard that hard to transfer over,SQ will not be as good as other HU...any suggestion? pre out?pre amp? or a sound processor,would not like to spend too much..

Depends on what kind of built in HU you have :-) E.g. Selective Subaru's has McIntosh HU built-in, and Lexus has Mark Levinson HU.
