I'm planning to go to "Taman Negara' for my coming Road trip.

 

Anyone can suggest / share with me your experience.

 

I've goggle and found some package tour in for this place.. Which hotel / resort you would suggest ?

 

1. RainForest Resort

 

2. Nusa Holiday Village

 

3. Woodland Resort

 

4. Mutiara Taman Negara Resort

vg cozy, never opt for package but book the room, ard rm$80 per head with b/f n dinner, other tour can arrange for u, also can bargain.

Went in 2008, stayed at Woodland Resort, not too bad. Across the river is Mutiara, which is more expensive. Really depends on what you want. Some people go there to conquer Mount Tahan, really siong and must tahan.

to be honest,

 

If u have been in army and chiong suaed, taman negara is no different. The areas near the resorts or the village opposite are very civilised.

 

I think anything nice u really have to go on the long treks.

 

Drive, not really. I went in 2001 and on the return, we took a pajero 4wd back to jerantut which is approximatly 2.5 hrs. The road is gravel mostly.

Any nice local food can recommend to me [:p] along the way..

 

I'll be drive via NS-expressway and exit Yong Peng - Segamat - head north. Fyi.

I plan the whole traveling time ~ 6-7 hours
