Don't attempt to poison lol

Now that power isn't a concern, it would be the lack of comfort of the Vios.

The Camry/i45 doesn't come at too much more... <_<

if you have a family of 4. go for the comfort on a bigger car, those vios i saw on the road were mainly asian couple, so they dun need the space i guess.

i45 or camry will be good too :D

Suggest to get a bigger car not for speeding sake but a bigger car would be more stable in highway drive esp areas where there may be crosswind.

I rented a Camry when self drive in Perth even though we've only a family of 3. The bigger boot also allow for more luggage space.

Going on a road trip in Perth this coming Aug.

Itinerary wise it looks like there is really quite a number of things to see and do.

Now because this is a car forum... would a Vios (it appears this is the most basic car available) be sufficient for the highways?

August is nice time to go as humidity level is just right.

For those who are sensitive to pollen, wise to bring/wear masks if coincide with early flowers blooming.

Been to Perth yearly for the past 3 yrs. drove both big and small cars.

If u intend to drive down south (Albany, Pemberton), better to rent bigger car for boot space, comfort and stability.

No need for SUV (roads are in gd condition, even to vineyards) as it may be unsafe due to tendency to step harder when the rds ahead are so empty and the occasional crosswinds.

May encounter Road Kills, mainly birds, get splattered or stuck on bonnet and grilles.

Never Jam Brakes when you hit large animal, eg, Kangaroo, or else the carcass will be flung onto your windscreen, breaking it.

Max speed on freeways and highways are 110kph, very strict in School Zone.

Always have bottles of water in your car when driving out of city area; better make it a habit to have water in the car at all times.........especially in Aus.

No bird is very popular for car rental - even with the locals.

No Birds is the signature for Bayswater Rental.

It was so popular the February I was there that I could only collect the car on the 3rd day after my arrival.

Luckily I had my relatives to drive me around.

Btw, it doesn't have airport pickup. I got mine from Subiaco branch.

Is it something new or by special arrangement, hence the increase in cost?

I haven't used that rental after the time when I had to collect and return @ Subiaco. [:(]

Been using Redspot, Hertz and Europcar (Economy Car Rentals) since.

Recently, Europcar upgraded my booking from Focus to a Passat. :D

europcar has a lot of bad review in the forum across Australia and Europe, and less forgiving when come to claim. I rather use hertz at least it has a office here if there is any dispute after you come home.
