Blew 1 ballast within warranty period, and the seller promptly replaced it for me after some testing. But other than that, everything's good. What kind of budget do you have? The one I bought cost me $100 and that was with slim ballast.

I am looking at somewhere around 150 or so.. Maybe something more heavy duty ones. :) Edited January 24, 2011 by Edwino

E-Jazz Neutral Newbie February 6, 2011 Share February 6, 2011 I think partially why some people are seeking for brighter headlines is due to the wearing out of the road lane paint works. Given that during the night, some of the lane markings are hardly visible. When it rains, it makes situations worst. Even on radio 91.3, the DJs have actually called in to LTA to make a suggestion and to ask LTA to consider installing reflectors at the end of each lane marking stripe so as to improve night visibility of the lane markings as done in other countries. The only problem is, is their voices enough? Though some users just want to show off, I believe there are other road users who genuinely wishes to see clearer on roads they travel on where others do not. Not every travels on the same area/road, thus not everyone experiences this problem. For me, I do not wish to blind others with bright head lamps, on the other hand, I value my safety and those I am ferrying in my vehicle, so which is more important? I believe it will help if everyone rally and send lots of feedback concerning lane marking visibility to LTA then perhaps when they take some action will genuine road users eliminate installing bright head lamps as an option. Just my 2 cents.
