try not to instal HID light, you are literally blindly front drivers without your knowing it, whether is uses more batt or other consumption, does not matter,

it is hazardous on the road and can caused accident, its about time we educate ourself.

I think its a waste of time and showing off, Sp here is so bright and street light everywhere, Unless you're driving in Malaysia or Up north.

Keena shown by Taxi driver many times, ( old uncles who are blind as a bat ) keep hobbing the right lane. Sigh !

Can always try HIR bulb to get best of both worlds mah.

if the HIR bulb the one selling in this forum for H4, i would say it is rubbish

as the filament is shorter than standard H4 thus normal beam from driver seat we see normal BUT

for driver infront, thought we are using high beam

anyway the life span is about 1 month for $70 per pair is not worth it in my opinion

many people have the misconcept that singapore is well lit

therefore no need to on head light

the truth is

headlight is not only for drivers to see the road also for others to be aware of us

for example in a multi storey carpark

how many of us actually switch on the headlight in the carpark

my neighbour did ask me when he saw my habit to switch on headlight in multi storey carpark and off it until i reach main road for daytime

i said its for others to be aware of my vehicle moving

Well I don't think there's street light everywhere. At some places, very dim, or otherwise no light at all!

Rainy day.... Yellow is much better than white....

yeah true... the rain drops/ snow will reflect the white HID light... yellow the most suitable ..

BTW ... <3900k stock headlight is enough for a very dark road... if there is alot of cars, there will be enough lights from the head light, if no car, use high beam, got car...switch to low beam loh... white light fir dark road is more unsafe, you blind the opp car... if "heng" they drive the to other side, if suay... u blind them ..they head on you.

I agree with you. I got the habit to switch on headlight whenever i'm in MSCP even in the day. Because you might be coming down, and another car which is coming up can see my headlight reflection.

HID is actually damn useful for night drives up NSH. I used to have HID on my car and now I'm contemplating installing HID again because I sorely miss the brightness that normal halogen bulbs can't give.

u want i got.. sell u cheap... 3k hid... use 2 hr nia..... taiwan made ballast (german brand) with korean made HID...

3k HID literally brights up everything infront of you... [thumbsup]

Yeap this was a thing my dad taught me when I was 14 years old hehe.. Til now I still on when I going into MSCP or leaving it. Good habit to let people know you are coming and don't dash out from their lots..

Ya i still prefer e yellowish light more. Easier to see in fog n rain.

Whiter light more fr showing off that car got HID. Thats why some pple use halogen white light to stand out but it is not good fr better lighting.

Many show-off drivers do things which r not to improve safety but just to attract pples attention to their cars. Can tell these r pple wh small ego n need to show-off to feel good. Ty end up a hazard to other road users. [:(]
