Solar Turbocharged December 28, 2010 Share December 28, 2010 No idea.. But does small CC car affect battery consumption?? small cc car i believe should have a relatively smaller battery.. but stock is fine. however if you have lots of gadgets hooked up, like ICE, xmas lights , multiple in-series cigarette lighter socket-powered stuff for ipod, gps, handphone, blah blah blah.. the stock battery may not be able to take it and you will need to upgrade the battery. best is to have the battery checked.. either kaput or there is a need to upgrade it ↡ Advertisement
Beehive3783 Turbocharged December 28, 2010 Share December 28, 2010 My fren selling his 6000K to me.. But the rest of the wiring still in his car.. Then what's the difference between got projector and none? normal halogen crystal type headlamp will cause glare to other road users. Projectors are different, they concentrate the beam from the bulb so that the light doesn't shoot everywhere
Beehive3783 Turbocharged December 28, 2010 Share December 28, 2010 But don't think it applies to the whole range of HID light right? he was talking about HID technology in general, so yes it applies to the whole range of HID.

Try to install 4300k instead of 6000k. The light are much stronger compare to 6000k in terms of intensity. Stock battery should be able to withstand HID if engine is turn on. Boyboy 1st Gear December 29, 2010 Share December 29, 2010 In general, good HIDs produce twice e light using half e power as compared to standard halogen bulbs. true. i'd get aftermarket if it was allowed. but is it worth the trouble and risk 1000 fine? silly mod if u ask me, cos it's so darn obvious. might as well get reflective tint to go with it. If done properly, it wont irritate others but then again many shops wil just anyhow install so long as can earn yr $. I dont blame LTA fr making aftermarker HID illegal. I blame those shoddy installers n e stupid drivers who just want to show off ty got HID, not knowing that their low class HID might even b worse than his original halogen lights. HID is actually damn useful for night drives up NSH. I used to have HID on my car and now I'm contemplating installing HID again because I sorely miss the brightness that normal halogen bulbs can't give. I've installed low class HID before leh, didn't seem to have any problems at all. Still brighter than halogen bulbs. Only thing is that one of the ballasts blew and fortunately was within the warranty period so the seller changed it for me.

Then what's the difference between got projector and none? see the link below for difference. Look under Optical Systems. install HID only IF headlights comes with projector lens.. if not, the light scatters everywhere and irritates the hell outta everyone driving ahead. HID, optical systems.
