Mazdaowner Moderator July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 May I know what lever machine do you use and where did you buy it? I'm eager to buy a lever machine myself, but have a hard time finding one locally and at a reasonable price.. I forgot to add, machines of these sorts never come "reasonable". Prices start from $800 up for a decent brand new machine. Not scaring you away, That is the truth. ↡ Advertisement
Kspchew 2nd Gear July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 Thanks for the offer, I'm fine with what I have, so many blends, I'm honestly spoilt for choice! A slight change in percentage and you have a different taste. This is what I had read up, hence trying my blend this weekend, Sumatra (30%), Colombia (40%) and Brazil Yellow Burbon (30%). Kspchew 2nd Gear July 6, 2011 Share July 6, 2011 J, you put it in such a nice way. Thanks buddy. Kopi luwah next roasting, you're on for 250g. I not perfectionist, just anal for good solid hard earned, shots in the morning, and on weekends to Melt away with in the morning. Never agree more, even for a newbie like me, its all worth it at the first 2shots in the morning and seeing the satisfied faces of my family and friends. It just make me want to go further and explore.

Finger cross The blending is one thing, the other is to NOT overkill on the roast profile, resulting in 3 blends, but one standing out from the three. You JUST had to RUB it in with the Poppy, didn't you? That will bring a new high, mixed with caffeine. Erectus Mega-Normous.

Planning to do FC+ for Sumarta and C+ for the other 2, then weigh them accordingly before putting them into the grinder. Thought of putting Ethiopian Yigracheffe in this blend, but afraid I mess it up, so start with 3 first. Wife will be the guniea pig for this concoction.
