Lever are not as simple as it seem. It can make or break (mostly) your shots.
Genie47 1st Gear July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 Nearly got lost trying to find it. Took the Muni to Van Ness and walked up. By the time I was there, it was full of people at 0730. Cold and the coffee is a warm welcome together with a bagel in hand.
Mazdaowner Moderator July 5, 2011 Share July 5, 2011 Is answering a simple "No" defined as being rude? I ha someone send me a PM, asking me to provide him Contact to my bean supplier,of which I said, "No", and it was deemed as being rude just because I didn't want to pass on the information, not being selfish, but the vendor deals only in bulk, and no need for this PM person to keep bugging me as if I owed him a living, if things didn't go his way. Best he found his own supply. Do I really need to spoon feed? Do I really need to divulge my contact, of whom is a very close friend of mine? Do I need to put my close friend to such frustration of dealing in small qtys. Just to.....APPEASE this person? Do I need to put my friend in trouble with his company? There you have it....all NO. With that said, I will seize answering any further questions or to even extend my unadulterated help and knowledge in this thread. A simple "less said, less trouble" whoever PMs me now, will not have their PMs answered. My coffee is only for my friends, and my friends only it will remain. Relax brudder, get a farking life ok! You want to know about coffee, PAY for it, don't expect a free handout!

The Ice Mojito Coffee also very good. Wife swears it is good for American coffee and it is not even espresso based. Thanks, appreciated it. The nearest store to my work place will be at 1600 Shattuck Ave. at Cedar, Berkeley, CA 94709, "Anesthesia to the Upside"seems to be an interesting blend. I think my luggage will be at least 50% filled with coffee from Peetss and Philz, jialat no space for my wife shopping list.

You can also source for used one locally but you probably need to know a lot about the equipment and the accessory not just the coffee. For people who ask bit and piece of the information and expect to get something out of it does not do justice to either the product or the person that put in effort to acquire in depth learning. There are many places that conduct such appreciation programs from equipment to the beans, then you start thinking if you wish to invest in such a passionate and expensive hobby, if not like many gadgets or a track mill, it ends up as white elephant Therefore, for me i just get it from Starbucks [laugh]

I make it a point, never to recommend, what suits me, may not you, vise versa. That is why I will never recommend, public or PM. Best you do your homework and choose The one you like, if I tell you what I use, you buy, don't like it, then the blame will fall upon No one but ME. "MO recommend me this machine and it's shi.ts!" sound some what...familiar? Lever machines come in semi auto or full manual. La Pavoni? Olympia Creamia? Giggia? Elektra? Rivierarame?Ponte? The list is endless. Sometimes, it's not how good the machine is, but how good your skills are.
