Useful iphone apps for drivers

Can anyone share with me which iphone apps can allow the driver to see his own speed in digital format? of act as a head up with a floating digital speedo on the wind screen?

Hmmm... it'll awesome if they have such a thing.

 

Seems like the expectations of an iphone is getting more and more.

 

next time will have ppl asking whether got app to tune ECU and do engine diagnostics or not.

all not very zhun one.. esp when you going over flyover. because most of the programs do not take into account elevation. also there's also a limit to how instantaneous the display can be, if not your phone will be very hot from car charger or batt down quite fast.

for me, itz rev software with my kiwi wifi plugged into my obd2 port. I can clear cel errors, check cel codes, as well as display a number of parameters (e.g boost, temp)...i dun need to install those gauges like my kakis do....everythin from my iphone/ipod...

Yes. Fantastic application [thumbsup] Got it for my beemer [:p] hee hee

 

You can get yours from the PLX official distributor R2D Autoworks at Unity Center.

 

Great gadget but I would use it fulltime with my iTouch instead using a cradle stand. Want to keep my iPhone free for calls coming in.

haha...

 

so introduction of apps helps but will shift focus from driving to whatsoever the app is reflecting???

hopefully these will not be much harm than the intended benefits...

 

i hope i did not generate any strong or violent objections...

They already have cars that can be unlocked with iPhones.

 

Good, next time I find a lost iPhone, I go carpark and look for that car. Lost an iPhone recently? [sly] [sly]

There are many APPs use by runner/jogger to record/track their workouts, for example, joggers, bikers use the App to track the distance covered, average speed, current speed etc. One of the App I used, known as
