I need a car to ferry a baby and 2 dogs . is hyundai getz a better choice than picanto in terms of interior space ? what are these two models being compare ? Is it because they are of the closer price range?

I think picanto or getz also can consider.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I cannot start my own thread, please allow me to use this thread instead for a while.

I purchased a Kia Picanto OPC car barely a week ago, 1st and 2nd days of driving with so much pleasure with super cold air-con. From 2nd day onwards the cooling is dropped bit by bit each day and yesterday there was no more cold air.

I am seeking the expert advice here before workshop man say surprise story for surprise price.

Lol

Thanks for kind advice.

Regards

Henry

Hi bros,

Thanks for the really quick advices.

Let me go back to the dealer and see how they can settle this.

Honestly, I didn't except to see such a sudden service that will be needed one week later.

Phew

Workshop claimed that it could be due to the A/C Compressor Magnetic Clutch faulty.

Quoted S$400++ for just repairing it, not replacing it with the new one.

Any ideas??

It is a sky high quoted price.

ok leh...been driving since 2006 Nov...went up genting countless time...major repair is the brake control valves...apart from that no major repair till now except T-belt and general servicing. Made it a point and top up water and check the EO every week. My ride was MT... gear oil changed at 70K.... now 115K still going strong...done 160+KM/H on NSHW still manageable.... but advice not too...avg 120 - 130km/hr is a pieve of cake....down side the small boot space....
